Stable, functional and inexpensive - that's the best way to characterize this wheelset. Furthermore, it also defies the special stresses of an e-bike drive. The indestructible DT Swiss hubs and the excellently manufactured Duke rims are forgiving of the occasional riding error. The balanced selection of components guarantees you a high level of reliability and a long service life.
Hubs
The hybrid version of the 350 hub has been specially developed for the high loads on E-bikes. It is also the best choice for expedition bikes and for riders who want a virtually indestructible wheelset. Compared to the standard version, it has an oversized housing, a heavy-duty axle and extra-reinforced spoke holes that can accommodate spokes with a diameter of up to 2.34 mm. Enlarged bearings also ensure greater robustness and durability. The proven DT-Swiss toothed pulley freehub is also made of hardened steel in the hybrid hub and has been extended to 24 teeth for a more direct response. These adjustments allow the hub to better digest the higher torques of the e-bike drives. Compared to the 240s hybrid hub, some weight-optimized components have been omitted from the 350 in favour of an extremely good price-performance ratio.
Rims
The rims from Duke in France stand for low weight and excellent workmanship. The hookless design is ideal for the use of tubeless systems. The reinforced bead means that any punctures can be better absorbed without causing damage. The fairly flat and wide rims reliably support the tire in any situation, so you won't have a spongy ride even with low air pressure.
The asymmetrical shape enables a more even spoke tension, which further increases the stiffness of the entire wheel.
Spokes
The Race spoke is the classic from Sapim. It is a round spoke with a butted center section with a diameter of 1.8 mm. This provides more damping than non-tapered spokes. In addition, short load peaks can be better digested. The Race spoke enables very stiff and stable wheels for practically any application. The weight including nipple is approx. 6.95g per piece.
Wheel construction at R2-Bike
Our wheels are assembled completely by hand by our wheel builders. During the entire assembly process, great importance is attached to ensuring that not only the concentricity is correct, but also that the spoke tension is as even as possible. This special care allows us to offer a lifetime guarantee against spoke breakage as long as it is not caused by force.

You will receive a universal wheel bag for all common sizes.
You will receive a replacement spoke with nipple in all required spoke lengths so that you can repair the wheel quickly after an accident.
You will receive a free initial inspection of the wheel, where the resulting work is completely free of charge. Only shipping costs are incurred.
You get a crash replacement promise: If your wheel is damaged due to force majeure, we will rebuild it once. We grant a 100% discount on all labor costs and only charge for the material.
