Competition-proven, lightweight and certainly not commonplace. You will probably rarely see it in the wild, and the matt finish with white lettering underlines the exclusivity of the Porte Atlas.
This frame, designed for cross-country use, leaves nothing to be desired for ambitious athletes. The special geometry has been developed explicitly for tough racing and is correspondingly aggressive.
The DNA is also immediately recognizable when you look at the weight - and can undoubtedly be classified as the spearhead of the XC world. With the frame weighing in at 922g, your journey to becoming a lightweight XC racer begins.
The low weight is just one of the advantages of this frame. Another highlight is the Flextail, a patented technology for the rear triangle. Designed for 120 mm suspension travel to provide sufficient reserves for the most extreme XC use. Sufficient tire clearance to accommodate any preference. Jumps of up to 61 cm in height are no problem with the ASTM Level 3 certification and also ensure confidence when jumping onto the podium.
The frame and the included headset are designed for integrated cable routing. The tidy look that this creates rounds off the appearance.

Flextail
The patented Flextail technology is a game changer! Without compromising the necessary and required stiffness of the frame - and in particular the rear triangle - Porte has generated damping via the chain and seat stays. With a vertical stroke of up to 6 mm, compliance is made possible. Rolling off and over rocks and roots becomes smoother. The subsequent contact search of the rear wheel with the ground ensures immediate grip and possible propulsion.
With the characteristics that the frame brings with it, all the prerequisites have been created in terms of material to stand at the top of the podium. Whether this happens depends entirely on your legs.
