PIRELLI tire Cinturato Gravel RC X Tough Terrain 28" | 700 x 40C TLR black / brown

Based on the success of the Cinturato Gravel RC, Pirelli's very first gravel racing tire, an even stronger version has been developed: the Cinturato Gravel RC X. This model features the new Techwall technology, with an additional bead-to-bead protection layer. It retains the characteristic tread design of the RC models and is designed for gravel racing on the most demanding surfaces.

SpeedGRIP Compound
Pirelli's rubber compound, specially developed for cross and gravel, is a synthesis of road, off-road and motorsport technology. It increases mechanical strength and chemical grip without reducing smooth running. For a fast-rolling rubber, the SpeedGRIP compound offers outstanding mileage and controllability on dry and wet surfaces. This mixture has it all and brings you advantages under all conditions.

TechWall Gravel X casing
In order to develop a tire that meets all the demands of gravel racing on demanding surfaces, Pirelli combined the technologies of the road-specific reinforced carcass with the MTB-specific technology. This blend resulted in a tubeless-ready construction that features a reinforced and cut-resistant 60 TPI weave that extends beyond the profile line and a bead-to-bead protective layer. Despite its improved puncture protection, the Techwall X Gravel casing offers a high level of rolling and riding comfort.

Tubeless ready
Aramid-reinforced tire beads ensure an optimal fit of the tire. The reinforcement efficiently prevents air from escaping, especially on wide rims and at low air pressures.
