Mondraker was born out of Spanish downhill racer Miguel Pina's passion for mountain biking in 2001 to develop modern mountain bikes with a clear design language and innovative performance features such as the Zero Suspension System and Forward Geometry of the highest quality. Bikes that make the difference. Bikes that win! These approaches are the foundations of Mondraker's company philosophy and are naturally lived by all employees and team riders, which is also reflected in the new headquarters opening in 2021 in Alicante on the Costa Blanca in Spain. Anyone who has always wondered where the name Mondraker comes from? It is derived from the cartoon hero "Mandrake - the Magician".
With the Podium Unlimited Naked, Mondraker is clearly focusing on uncompromising weight optimization. The raw carbon look not only impresses with its elegant appearance, but also saves a few grams of weight compared to the standard model. The strictly limited frameset is lovingly handcrafted in the Mondraker Blue Lab paint studios as part of the CSP (Color Select). An absolute must-have for all those who pay attention to every gram of their bike!
This frame is one of the lightest cross country hardtail frames currently used in the World Cup. Thanks to the Stealth Air Carbon technology, the engineers were able to optimize every detail of the frame so that, despite its low weight, it can cope with the stresses and strains of the World Cup and sets new standards. It is therefore not surprising that the riders of the PMX Racing Team always choose the Podium when the conditions of the World Cup races do not require a full-suspension bike like the F-Podium DC. Naturally, the engineers at Mondraker attached great importance to aesthetics and design when developing the podium. That's why all cables and lines run through the frame using the HHG Cable Routing System. Thanks to the Forward Geometry, the Podium offers sufficient safety on steeper downhill sections and high traction on climbs. No question, the Podium is the most powerful and lightest hardtail that Mondraker has created with 20 years of experience in building high-performance bikes.
Forward Geometry
The main advantages of the Forward Geometry are increased safety and more confidence on steep descents, even at high speeds, as well as more precision when going uphill. At high speeds, the result is agile, precise and direct handling. Improved traction and control lead to more stability even on very technical and rough terrain.
Stealth Air Carbon
This technology enables the precise placement and alignment of the carbon mats according to the requirements of the respective model. The result is a frame with the best ratio of strength, stiffness, vibration damping and weight in the unmistakable Mondraker design.
Hidden Housing Guide
All cables and lines are routed through the frame for a clean look.
NOTE: Mondraker recommends taking the forward geometry of the frame into account when choosing the length of the stem (frame size S/M: 60 mm stem length, frame size L: 70 mm stem length).
