For everyone who loves their classic road bike with rim brakes and quick releases, METI now has a stable, light and elegant solution for wheel mounting.
The elaborately CNC-manufactured clamping axles are manufactured in Italy on modern machines. High-strength grade 5 titanium is used as the material. The material used is extremely resistant to corrosion and has a high tensile strength. In addition, the axle creates a very stiff connection between the dropout and the hub.
We recommend applying a thin layer of assembly paste to the thread during assembly to prevent contact corrosion.
