Enduro and downhill riding often involves rough, technical terrain with numerous obstacles such as rocks, roots and narrow passages. As the rear derailleur is located at the rear dropout of the frame and is relatively exposed, it can easily be hit by stones, branches or other obstacles. But even a classic fall, where the bike hits the side, can cause damage to the rear derailleur. Dynamic loads such as fast descents, jumps and strong vibrations further increase the risk of damage.

Lighter than the original cage, the Enduro/DH-classified rear derailleur cage system scores with outstanding durability and improved drivetrain properties. The shorter cage ensures more chain tension and less chain slap. Optimized for high forces and impacts, the 3D-printed derailleur pulleys are also equipped with durable SKF bearings. Black titanium derailleur pulley bolts underline the visual impact of the Stealth Cage. The popular 3D printing process Fused Deposition Modeling is used for production. With an exceptionally high resolution, a 0.4 millimeter nozzle prints the molten thermoplastic filament onto a platform in extremely thin layers of just 0.08 millimeters. The individual strands of plastic harden in the air and bond with the existing layer underneath. This process is repeated until the desired shape of the workpiece is completely printed. The result is so finely printed that it only becomes apparent at second glance that it is a 3D-printed component.
