KNIPEX locking pliers black atramentized 90° | 40 - 100 mm

With KNIPEX locking pliers, the pliers shanks and tips are forged in one piece. This results in a correspondingly high durability. The tips are very precisely manufactured, over-twisted and slightly inclined inwards. This inclination prevents the circlips from coming off the tips. The head of these pliers is angled at 90°. Thanks to this design, circlips can be easily reached even if a component is in the way and vertical access to the circlip would not be possible.

Atramented surface
Atramentized or phosphated surfaces are widely used on KNIPEX pliers and are very popular with users. This surface treatment consists of a dark phosphate coating. The matt surface reduces the reflection of light, which can be particularly advantageous when working on bright or reflective surfaces. The atreatment gives the pliers an attractive appearance, a good grip, but also weaker corrosion protection (compared to chrome-plated surfaces). Atramentized pliers should be well oiled at all times to improve protection against rust.
