The KNIPEX diagonal cutters with 180 mm length are a powerful, high-quality tool for demanding users. From the shape of the head to the grinding and hardness of the cutting edges, this tool is tailor-made for a wide range of cutting tasks in the workshop or hobby room. With its cutting performance of up to 2.5 mm diameter for hard wire and up to 4.0 mm diameter for soft wire, it offers a wide range of applications. Atramented surface
Atramentized or phosphated surfaces are widely used on KNIPEX pliers and are very popular with users. This surface treatment consists of a dark phosphate coating. The matt surface reduces the reflection of light, which can be particularly advantageous when working on bright or reflective surfaces. The atreatment gives the pliers an attractive appearance, a good grip, but also weaker corrosion protection (compared to chrome-plated surfaces). Atramentized pliers should be well oiled at all times to improve protection against rust.
