KNIPEX locking pliers black atramentized | 19 - 60 mm

The working tips of these precision circlip pliers are made of high-density, groove-free spring steel wire and are then positively inserted into the pliers and cold-formed. Thanks to the outwardly inclined position of the tips, the rings are held reliably on the pliers. The large, straight contact surfaces underneath the working tips prevent the rings from twisting. Each handle fits perfectly because the extremely stable, inserted working tips grip the mounting holes of the retaining rings accurately at the first attempt and hold them securely on the pliers without twisting.

Atramentized surface
Atramentized or phosphated surfaces are widely used on KNIPEX pliers and are very popular with users. This surface treatment consists of a dark phosphate coating. The matt surface reduces the reflection of light, which can be particularly advantageous when working on bright or reflective surfaces. The atreatment gives the pliers an attractive appearance, a good grip, but also weaker corrosion protection (compared to chrome-plated surfaces). Atramentized pliers should be well oiled at all times to improve protection against rust.
