The KMC DLC12 chain was developed for the highest demands in sporty use and is compatible with all common 12-speed shifting systems. It impresses with its diamond-like carbon coating, which is applied to the surface of the chain links using a special process. This coating gives the chain an extremely hard and smooth surface, which minimizes frictional resistance, improves efficiency and significantly reduces wear. It also increases resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress, which noticeably extends the service life of the chain. Particularly reinforced, it also withstands high tensile forces and permanent loads on e-bikes with mid-mounted motors. With its precise manufacturing and narrow design, the DLC12 chain offers excellent shifting performance under all conditions. The Missing Link chain lock makes it easy to install and remove the chain.

KMC GO WAX
The first chain wax from KMC was developed to reduce friction and improve shifting. At the same time, the wax forms the basis for a chain range that is intended to be free of mineral oil-based lubricants in the long term. KMC Go Wax forms a water-repellent microfilm on the chain, which permanently prevents heavy dirt adhesion and minimizes the associated accelerated wear. In addition, KMC Go Wax is biodegradable and contains neither toxic chemicals nor harsh solvents.

Design meets functionality: KMC's colored DLC chains show how even supposedly boring drivetrain components can emphasize personal style preferences. For cyclists who attach particular importance to a well thought-out and color-coordinated setup. You can find all available colors in our store.
