The roots of the Ukrainian company Garbaruk lie in motorsport, with a clear focus on the design and manufacture of tuning parts for engines and chassis. Today, the cycling-enthusiastic Garbaruk brothers use the experience and knowledge they have gained from this to produce high-end components for bicycles. Since 2019, the company has been based in Krakow, Poland. All development and production steps are also united under one roof at the new company headquarters.
7075-T6 aluminum from Germany is the raw material from which Garbaruk chainrings are elaborately CNC-milled. The chainrings have a number of features that set them apart from the competition.

Narrow-wide teeth
To keep the chain securely in position even without a chain guide, the teeth have a special profile consisting of alternating narrow and wide teeth. The teeth of the Garbaruk chainrings are approx. 40% longer than standard teeth to ensure that this is the case even under very rough and coarse conditions. Furthermore, the teeth are shaped in such a way that the chainring works very well even in muddy conditions. Dirt and mud are effectively removed when the chain runs over.

Oval shape
The ovalization of the chainring increases performance by varying the drivetrain and optimizing resistance. When pedaling with the legs, the natural strengths and weaknesses are harmonized. This results in better use of the stronger muscle groups and compensates for the weaker muscles in the work stroke (shorter stroke).
