The roots of the Ukrainian company Garbaruk lie in motorsport, with a clear focus on the design and manufacture of tuning parts for engines and chassis. Today, the cycling-enthusiastic Garbaruk brothers use the experience and knowledge they have gained from this to produce high-end components for bicycles. Since 2019, the company has been based in Krakow, Poland. All development and production steps are also united under one roof at the new company headquarters.
The Direct Mount MTB chainring was specially designed for cranks with the SRAM 8-hole standard and boasts an exotic design. Exceptionally high chain teeth and variable tooth thicknesses keep the chain bombproof when riding over rough and smooth. Rounded edges and milled notches in the chainring ensure excellent self-cleaning. So you are equipped for all conditions in the forest.
Narrow-wide teeth
To keep the chain securely in position even without a chain guide, the teeth have a special profile consisting of alternating narrow and wide teeth. The teeth of the Garbaruk chainrings are approx. 40% longer than standard teeth to ensure that this is the case even in very rough and rugged conditions. Furthermore, the teeth are shaped in such a way that the chainring works very well even in muddy conditions. Dirt and mud are effectively removed when the chain runs over.
Direct mount assembly
The chainring is mounted directly on the crank arm and replaces any spider that may have been present previously. The result is a tidy look that saves weight and offers excellent stiffness at the same time.
