EXTRALITE front hub CyberFront SPD-3 Road Disc | quick release
It has long been known that the Italians around Extralite create small CNC works of art. With this new evolutionary stage of the Cyberhubs, they have once again outdone themselves. The now one-piece hub body is CNC-milled from high-strength 7075TX aluminum at great expense. This rotates around a further enlarged 15 mm aluminum axle with double-sealed deep groove ball bearings. The axial play can be finely adjusted using the micro-tuner. The improved flange geometry ensures a more optimal spoke angle and can now be used with higher spoke tensions. In addition, the assembly and servicing of wheels is made easier as the axle no longer needs to be removed for spoking.
The Cyberhubs were designed for use with straight pull spokes. The advantages are a better distribution of the loads caused by the disc brake, a slightly stiffer wheel and the minimization of spoke breakage. All this Italian brainwork results in a 66g light disc hub with a 6-hole mount, which will make the technology-loving road cyclist & crosser's jaw drop.
