ENVE SES AR IN-Route One-Piece handlebar
ENVE products have experienced a rapid rise in the world of cycling. They have even been tested in major races such as the Tour de France or the Vuelta in Spain. The carbon specialists from the USA develop only the best, uncompromising attachments for professionals and other dedicated cyclists.
With the SES AR IN-Route One-Piece, the first stem/handlebar unit from ENVE is now available. The one-piece aero cockpit was originally developed for Tadej Pogačar and designed according to his requirements for racing. Although it is a handlebar and stem unit, the cockpit actually consists of two parts that are joined together in the production process. This allows ENVE to combine any handlebar width with any stem length, resulting in 45 different combinations. All stem/handlebar units are custom made in-house in Ogden, Utah, and come with an ENVE factory warranty of 5 years and lifetime ENVE Incidental Damage Protection.
The top of the handlebar is flat and streamlined. Although the drops are positioned slightly outwards, they remain pointing straight backwards. This increases safety in road races when you are in close contact with the competition. ENVE relies on its own IN-Route system for the fully integrated cable routing. This routes all the shift and brake lines through the stem, then through the headset and aligns them in front of the steerer tube. From there, the front brake enters a connection at the front of the steerer tube to be routed through the left fork leg to the brake. The rest flows around the steerer tube into the down tube, which not only looks very clean and tidy, but also offers aerodynamic advantages without compromising rider comfort. The whole thing is rounded off by a bracket from K-EDGE, which has been optimized for the new cockpit and hugs the handlebars perfectly in terms of shape and aerodynamics.
ENVE IN-Route
Hidden cables and lines are the be-all and end-all when it comes to the modern bike and aerodynamic advantages in competition. As a complete system, ENVE IN-Route offers a variety of stem, handlebar, headset and fork combinations to provide the right fit for every frame material and rider size. It routes all shift and brake lines through the stem, then through the headset and aligns them in front of the steerer tube. From there, the front brake enters a port on the front of the steerer tube to be routed through the left fork leg to the brake. The rest flows around the steerer tube into the down tube. These features make IN-Route a complete all-in-one cable integration solution.
ENVE's SES AR IN-Route stem/handlebar unit is compatible if the frame and fork use a similar routing setup for the integrated cable routing and an EC44 or IC52 headset can be fitted to the upper head tube. If required, the cables can also be routed out towards the frame via a bypass spacer.
