Duke's MADMAX SP hubs are the perfect hub for lightweight, stiff and durable wheels.
The CNC machined and then black anodized 7075 T6 aluminium hub body rotates around two 6803 2RS deep groove ball bearings, which sit on a stiff 17 mm axle and are double sealed.The bearings are positioned as far outwards as possible for stable support, which creates additional rigidity. The geometry of the spoke flanges has been optimized in diameter and spoke angle to reduce the load on the spoke heads to a minimum.
An elementary point for the reliability of your new hub is protection from the elements. The special seal between the hub shell and freehub body guarantees optimum protection against dirt and water with smooth running that is second to none.
From the initial design to the finished hub, all steps are carried out entirely in Europe. Selected partners turn, mill, anodize and laser engrave the individual parts of the hub according to Duke's strict specifications. Final assembly and quality control take place in the Vendeé region of France, guaranteeing you a perfect product every time.
