DT SWISS quick release RWS steel | aluminum lever | 5x145mm

The innovative wheel mounting system from DT Swiss! Instead of the eccentric clamping principle developed for racing bikes over 80 years ago, the clamping force of the RWS is built up by tightening a screw connection with a lever.

Operation is very simple: Tighten the tensioner by hand as tightly as possible by turning the lever clockwise (min. 15 Nm). Depending on the frame or fork construction, this can also be done by turning the lever several times. Then lift the lever and turn it to the desired position - the impeller is securely and firmly mounted.

By directly transferring the leverage to the thread, the RWS can achieve a clamping force that is up to 50% higher than with conventional quick releases. This is not only safer, but also increases rigidity, which is particularly noticeable with disc brakes.

Milled aluminum levers in a slim form - dirt-resistant and very easy to use.

Note: The lever for tightening is firmly integrated into the axle .
