"A clean chain for everyone" is the motto of the still young company CYCLOWAX. The CYCLOWAX chain is pre-waxed, high-performance and was developed together with Connex by Wippermann, who are known for their particularly durable chains. Thanks to stainless steel with an innovative nickel coating, it is robust and corrosion-resistant. The high-performance plate geometry enables smooth shifting. The wax forms a transparent, smooth coating and keeps the chain clean while increasing the service life of your drivetrain. This not only saves money, but also protects the environment. Unlike conventional chain lubricants, which are often based on fossil oils, waxes are biodegradable and less harmful to the environment. In order to maintain a smooth and silky-smooth running drive, the chain should be re-waxed every 250 km. Re-waxing is also recommended after wet rides.

Note: Check your chain regularly with a chain tester and replace it as soon as the wear limit of 0.5 percent is reached. The Cyclowax-Heater device is required to re-wax the chain. This chain is not intended for use with SRAM 12-speed Road and Transmission drivetrains.
