"A clean chain for everyone" is the motto of the still young company CYCLOWAX. Inspired by the cleanliness of a waxed chain, the founders developed the Cyclowax Heater, in which you can (re-)wax a grease-free and clean or already waxed chain. The wax penetrates deeply and keeps the chain clean thanks to a transparent, smooth coating, meaning no more dirty hands and annoying cleaning and easy transportation without any chainring tattoos. Thanks to the reduced friction, you save energy and extend the service life of your drivetrain at the same time.
With this CYCLOWAX Starter Kit Clean Chain CYCLOWAX 12-speed, you can easily convert your bike to waxed chains. With the help of the included Preparation Kit, you can prepare your drivetrain for the waxed chain, which is also included in the set. The device includes a wax tablet so that you can wax. With the innovative Cyclowax app, you can easily keep an eye on your waxing intervals.

Cyclowax heater
In this device, the wax tablet is melted in just 10 minutes and the bike chain can be dipped into the wax using a wire. The chain is then cooled on a chain hanger using the wire and excess wax can drip off. The silicone mat supplied keeps the surface clean.

Note: The device is operated with 220 volts and can also be used with 200 volts thanks to an adapter. Adapter is not included in the scope of delivery.

pre-waxed chain 12-fold
The CYCLOWAX chain is pre-waxed, high-performance and was developed together with Connex by Wippermann, who are known for their particularly durable chains. Thanks to stainless steel with an innovative nickel coating, it is robust and corrosion-resistant. The high-performance plate geometry enables smooth shifting. Together with the wax coating, it is a unique combination. To maintain a smooth-running drive, the chain should be re-waxed after approx. 250 km in everyday use. Re-waxing is also recommended after wet rides.

Note: Check your chain regularly with a chain tester and replace it as soon as the wear limit of 0.5 % is reached. The Cyclowax-Heater device is required to re-wax the chain. This chain is not intended for use with SRAM 12-speed Road and Transmission drivetrains.

Preparation kit
With this kit, you can clean your drivetrain system, including the chain, to make the most of the benefits of a waxed chain. Thanks to the included brush, Drivetrain Cleaning Sting and cleaning cloths, you can reach every part of your drivetrain and the cleaning agents remove dirt and grease.

Performance Pro wax tablet
One wax tablet fits perfectly in the Cyclowax Heater and is sufficient for 8 chain treatments. You should wax your chain again after a maximum of 500 km of riding. Compared to the basic wax, friction-reducing additives are added to the Performance Pro Wax Tablet, which ensure even less friction.
