Behind the Cyclite brand are Christoph Kirsch and Max Barnsteiner, two bike enthusiasts from Chiemsee, who together have more than 45 years of experience and expertise in marketing and design in the outdoor industry. As the two of them were unable to find the perfect bags for their bikepacking tours to meet their high demands, they decided to take action themselves and revolutionize the bikepacking market with completely new ideas. The result is the lightest bikepacking bag set on the market. However, Cyclite bags are not only extremely light, but also aerodynamically favorable and practical to use. The Fork Bag 01 is a well thought-out fork bag for bikepackers who want to create additional storage space outside the frame without compromising on aerodynamics. Its flat, wedge-shaped design ensures a particularly streamlined shape, while the low center of gravity supports a stable and natural riding feel. A firm inner structure prevents the bag from bulging. Even when the volume of 3.1 liters is fully utilized, the Fork Bag retains its shape.
Access to the main compartment is via a weatherproof zipper, supplemented by a practical mesh pocket with quick access for short stops on the go. Fastening is quick, uncomplicated and reliable. The fork bag can either be attached directly to the existing screw threads on the fork or, in the case of rigid and suspension forks without corresponding mounts, via the thru axles on the bike. For this variant, a suitable adapter solution such as the Axle Pack from Old Man Mountain is required. Both mounting options are designed so that the bag sits securely and neither slips nor twists.
The Fork Bag 01 is available individually for the right or left side or as a set for both sides. Its minimalist design blends harmoniously into different bikepacking setups and combines functionality with clear, technical aesthetics.
Made from the specially developed LiteGrid-RN200T3 material, the bag combines a particularly low weight with high robustness and reliable weather protection. Two nylon fibers of different thicknesses are processed into a durable ripstop fabric using a special weaving technique, then coated on both sides and high-frequency welded. The result is material with an ideal combination of stability and lightness, which is also easy to clean.
