Pre-waxed and ready to go
Chains treated with Connex Hot Wax not only bring more power to the sprockets, they also score points in terms of wear and maintenance. Thanks to the special formula with high-quality SCA wear protection additives, the wax measurably reduces friction between pins and chain links, offers long-lasting protection against corrosion and at the same time ensures smooth and quiet chain operation. Connex provides you with the ideal care combination of hot and liquid wax so that you can benefit from the advantages of your waxed chain in the long term. All wax products are perfectly matched to each other. So you can decide for yourself whether it's time for a relaxing wax bath or a quick refresh with liquid wax.

Speed Wing
Thanks to Speed Wing, the optimized geometry of the outer plates, extremely fast and almost noiseless gear changes are possible on all shifting systems. In addition, the special design significantly reduces the effort required to shift gears. This results in exceptionally smooth running and minimizes wear on the drivetrain in the long term.

Diamond Shape
Similar to a diamond, the plates are ground on the outer sides, allowing the chain to be guided precisely and accurately through the sprockets. These circumferential embossings on the outer contour guarantee more efficient power distribution, especially under high loads, which qualifies the chains for many areas of application - from the daily commute to work to racing.

Power Pin
Connex has developed a completely new process for radial riveting of the pins in order to optimally absorb the high lateral forces caused by extreme transmission ratios. In combination with a special coating, the Power Pins guarantee maximum load-bearing capacity, even with narrow designs.

Connex Link
With Connex Link, every Connex chain can be opened and closed with ease - without any tools. The legendary locking mechanism exemplifies the innovative strength of Connex and combines ease of use with unshakeable reliability. Made from high-strength stainless steel with a hardened steel alloy, it can be used again and again - unlike many other chain locks. And again. And again. And again...

CONNEX by Wippermann
The first chain-driven bicycle had just come onto the market when Wilhelm Wippermann began manufacturing bicycle components in Hagen. The historical trigger: when his son's bicycle chain broke again, he was convinced that it could be done better. He decides to manufacture a chain himself - and in 1893 lays the foundation for one of the oldest brands in the bicycle industry.
Today, the Wippermann company offers long-term prospects to over 300 employees. Every year, they consistently train junior staff in various areas. Some employees spend their entire working life at the medium-sized company from Germany. An irreplaceable wealth of experience, which is also reflected in the quality of the products.
