CANNONDALE stem/handlebar unit SystemBar Road Carbon | 360 mm
The SystemBar Road is Cannondale's top aerodynamic model. The integrated carbon handlebar stem unit with a shortened wing profile supports a streamlined riding position and at the same time ensures high stability in the lower link.Its flat tube shapes optimize the airflow, while the flared lower links with a flare of 40 millimetres provide a safe and controlled riding experience. The seamless integration of the SytemBar into the frame design ensures a perfect look.
Delta Steerer
The design of the SystemBar for the Cannondale Delta steerer allows for elegant internal routing of all lines and cables through the frame and fork. This keeps the front particularly tidy and the head tube pleasantly slim. The SystemBar Road reduces disruptive components in the airstream, improves ergonomics in the grip area and creates a cockpit that blends in perfectly with the overall look of the bike.
One-piece construction
The carbon monocoque construction combines handlebars and stem to form a rigid unit. Thanks to the reduced number of joints and bolts, the cockpit remains reliable and stable even at high speeds and when pedaling hard. The narrow upper handlebars, the outward-pointing lower handlebars and the flat tube shapes improve aerodynamics and create sufficient space for variable hand positions.
NOTE: This cockpit is only to be used in conjunction with a fork that uses the Delta head tube standard! Not compatible with mechanical or wired electronic groupsets. The instructions (QR code on the packaging, or PDF in the appendix) for the product must be observed! Torques must be strictly observed. If the necessary specialist knowledge or tools for correct installation are missing, the installation must be carried out by a specialist workshop with the appropriate knowledge.
