CAMPAGNOLO Crank Powermeter 2-speed ROAD Super Record 13
In 1973 Campagnolo introduced the first Super Record groupset - a consistent further development of the Record groupset that set new standards in terms of performance, lightweight construction and exclusivity. More than 50 years later, Campagnolo continues this tradition with the Super Record 13 platform and takes it to a new level: as the fastest electronic groupset currently on the market, it not only offers the widest range of gear ratios, but also marks the beginning of a redefinition of the brand identity - developed with the aim of setting a new benchmark in the high-end segment.
A technical masterpiece with an unmistakable design language: the crankset of the Super Record 13 groupset attracts everyone's attention. This is ensured by the successful combination of matt aluminum chainrings and carbon crankarms with their iconic, shiny finish. The deliberately visible carbon structure underlines the majestic elegance of the Italian set. Thanks to seven different chainring combinations in the gradations 45/29, 48/32, 50/34, 52/36, 53/39, 54/39 and 55/39, the setup can be tailored to individual requirements. In combination with four different cassettes, this results in the most versatile and complete range of gear ratios currently available on the market. Campagnolo remains true to its Ultra-Torque technology for the crankshaft system. Two titanium half-shafts, which are firmly connected to the crank arms, mesh via Hirth splines and are securely fixed in place by a central oversize bolt. This design not only enables millimeter-precise positioning, but also reduces the lateral space required at axle height and thus prevents unwanted contact between the ankle and crank. Crank arm lengths of 165, 170, 172.5 and 175 mm are available. With a Q-factor of 148.5 mm, the crank is optimally designed for efficient and ergonomic pedaling. Smooth running is ensured by ceramic bearings pressed onto the shaft, which together with the QCK-Tech bearing shells provide excellent protection against water and dirt. The wide range of QCK-Tech cups and bottom brackets ensures compatibility with all current bottom bracket standards.
Power meter from SRM
In modern training control, precise power measurement is crucial, especially for ambitious cyclists who want to improve their performance in a targeted manner. A power meter on the crank offers the most accurate and direct measurement of pedaling power, as it measures where the power is actually generated: directly at the interface between the rider and the drive. Compared to measuring systems on the hub or the pedals, a crank power meter provides a more harmonious and distortion-free overall picture of the real power. The SRM power meter with HPPM technology (High Precision Power Measurement) sets new standards in terms of accuracy and response speed. Its outstanding strength lies in continuous data acquisition at intervals of 5 milliseconds, which allows even the slightest power fluctuations to be detected and evaluated in real time. 16 sensors simultaneously measure the angular speed of the integrated gyroscope and the torque acting on the crank. This high-frequency measurement data is used to calculate the power output with maximum precision.
Like all components of the electronic shifting group, the crank units are manufactured entirely in Italy - an expression of the highest precision, perfect craftsmanship and uncompromising reliability.
