With the clipless pedal, Acros offers you a simple, well thought-out clipless pedal that not only positions you securely in a fixed position, but also offers customization options to make riding with clipless pedals more comfortable and safer. The special feature is hidden inside, where the distance from the pedal to the crank can be adjusted using a sleeve. This results in a change in position, Acros calls this position stance, of 5 mm per side. Does that make a difference? Yes! Because the wider the stance, the more secure and stable you are on the bike. Of course, there are subtle nuances, because a position like John Wayne with his Colt drawn won't help you at all on your bike. Efficiency must be maintained in order to transfer the power perfectly to the clipless pedal. In addition, these 10 mm may give you the necessary clearance to avoid touching the chainstays on the Super Boost rear triangle of your mountain bike. The pedal body is fitted with four stainless steel pins, which provide a good amount of grip even when not clicked in. Here too, the focus is on high-quality and durable bearings. Ball and plain bearings are used, which are triple-sealed against dirt and moisture. The skid plates supplied make it easier for you to click in, depending on the shoe, despite the stainless steel pins. Of course, you can adjust the preload and thus adapt it perfectly to you and the surface. Acros uses the proven and widespread SPD system, so you can also use existing SPD cleats.
