ABSOLUTE BLACK chainring Direct Mount oval | Easton EC90 SL crank | black

Premium chainrings for the Easton EC90 SL cinch crank. Absolute Black chainrings are CNC-machined from a single piece of aluminium and then anodized, resulting in an extremely stiff and durable chainring designed for a 1 x 9, 1 x 10, 1 x 11 or 1x12 (Eagle) drivetrain. The chainrings have special teeth that prevent the chain from jumping off prematurely. The principle follows that of the SRAM chainrings with X-Sync teeth. In addition, the teeth are shaped in such a way that they remove mud better, which makes them ideal for use on gravel and cyclocross bikes.

The ovalization of the chainring also increases performance by varying the drivetrain and optimizing resistance. When pedaling with the legs, the natural strengths and weaknesses are harmonized. This results in better use of the stronger muscle groups and compensates for the weaker muscles in the work stroke (shorter stroke).
