It's time for timeless elegance
Trends come and go, what is "in" today is already "out" tomorrow or the day after. Creating a classic is a completely different ball game and clearly one of Dangerholm's goals.
With this design of the SCOTT Addict RC in particular, Dangerholm not only attached great importance to selected technology but also to the creation of a soul in order to give the Addict RC the potential to become a classic.
The Addict RC has the necessary qualities in every relevant area. It is aero but not too extreme and it is light but not so light that you have to be afraid of breaking it. It shows its qualities both on steep climbs and on long distances. No matter what you want to achieve on the road - the Addict RC is a loyal and potent companion - even if only for KOM hunting...

Even though the current generation of the Addict has been on the market for some time, it is still a clear benchmark - especially in the HMX SL version, which uses only first-class carbon material in combination with a weight-optimised layup.
When it comes to the wheels, Dangerholm also leaves nothing to chance and installs the Syncros Capital SL wheels made from full carbon fibre. These are formed in a single step, with the carbon fibres running from one end to the other through the spokes. This makes them not only extremely light but also extremely responsive and, as 40mm rim profiles, their aerodynamic values rival even some 60mm rims. At the end of the day, however, it's the bare figures that count and, at 1165g for the wheelset, they are impressive - especially considering the inner rim width of 25mm! A look at the drivetrain also reveals timeless beauty wherever you look. The centrepiece here is the THM Clavicula SE crankset with carbon Ti chainrings. The high-quality, German-made crank arms have a full carbon construction and thus reduce the weight to around 300g. Dangerholm builds a perfect combination with the Carbon-Ti chainrings manufactured in Italy, whereby the chainrings are used in the latest AXS optimised version. The rear derailleur is tuned with an OSPW RS derailleur cage from CeramicSpeed. And of course the bottom bracket also comes from CeramicSpeed. Dangerholm uses Vittoria Corsa N.EXT tyres in 28mm width, as they are very light thanks to their nylon construction. A set of Vittoria Corsa Pro tyres is also available to make the Addict RC more flexible in terms of handling.
The highlight of the bike is definitely the paintwork. Here, Dangerholm reaches deep into its bag of tricks. The carbon frame, which is stripped of paint in the first step, is then given a fine coat of silver metallic paint. The five candy colours are then sprayed onto the frame, the arrangement of which symbolises the sunset. To round off the appearance of the entire bike, the THM crank was chosen in the high-gloss version. The CeramicSpeed cage was also given a silver logo and polished to a high lustre.
This timeless piece of jewellery weighs 6.45 kg including pedals, bottle cage and Garmin mount.
