The Zimtstern brand was founded in 1995 by two snowboarders in Switzerland and initially made a name for itself with snowboard clothing. The first bike collection was then launched in 2010. The unusual brand name originally came from a humorous idea - inspired by the traditional Zimtstern cookies. But the parallels soon became clear.
