This lightweight yet stable wheelset is the first choice for the committed gravel or cross biker. The balanced selection of components guarantees you a high level of reliability and a long service life.
Hubs
Lighter, stiffer, more precise and easier to maintain - these are the strengths of the newly launched DT Swiss 240 hubs. These properties were achieved through the Ratchet EXP technology. With this, the hubs not only get by with fewer components and the associated lower weight and lower wear, it also allows the bearing to be positioned significantly further out on the drive side. The greater distance between the bearings results in a higher stiffness of the hub, a lower bearing load and thus a higher durability. The stiffness of the hub body serves to distribute the load on the spokes more evenly. Driving and braking forces are transmitted even better from both spoke flanges to all spokes. One-sided load peaks are prevented, which protects the hub, spokes and rim. The super reliable toothed pulley freewheel system with its large contact area and 36 locking points ensures extremely direct and reliable power transmission.

DT Swiss has the right rims to drive off the asphalt. These extremely stable rims with a large internal width and high approved system weight are made for tough off-road use, regardless of whether it is for gravel or bikepacking over hill and dale. They won't let you down. You have the option of driving very wide tires. In addition, they are tubeless-compatible and thus reduce the risk of breakdowns.
Wheel construction at R2-Bike
Our wheels are completely assembled by hand by our wheel builders. During the entire construction process, it is important that not only the concentricity is correct, but also that the spoke tension is as even as possible. The special care allows us to give a lifelong guarantee against broken spokes, as long as this was not caused by force!
You will also receive the following services for our balance bikes:
A universal impeller bag for all common sizes.
A spare spoke + nipple in all required spoke lengths to be able to repair the wheel at short notice even after an accident.
A free initial inspection of the impeller, during which the resulting work is completely free! Only shipping costs are charged.
A crash replacement promise. If your wheel is damaged due to force majeure, we will rebuild your wheel once. We grant a 100% discount on all labor costs and only charge the material!
