WOVE BIKE Saddle Mags V2 | black
Magnolia Road in Boulder, Colorado, epitomizes what the saddle is. A road bike and gravel saddle. It has been extensively tested on this road and is named after it. The 12-mile (approx. 19.5 km) long road, which runs through the mountains not far from Rocky Mountain National Park, is partly a gravel road. The serpentines lead over 750 meters in altitude to more than 2500 m above sea level.
In order to be prepared for such conditions, many factors have to be right, such as the padding to ensure the right level of comfort. The foam padding has been designed so that it is not too hard or too soft for you, but adapts to your buttocks in a supportive manner. A thin but hard-wearing material has been chosen for the cover material, which also provides sufficient support without hindering a change of position on the saddle.
If you're thinking of climbing 750 meters in altitude, every gram that isn't there will be beneficial. At 132 g, Wove had the same thought.
Once the vertical meters have been conquered, it's mostly downhill again, building up speed with the help of downhill power, an aero position and powerful kicks. As this streamlined position can cause the thighs to rub against the saddle, this aspect was taken into account during development.
The extra-long carbon fiber rails offer a wide adjustment range so that you can be sure of finding the right position and thus a powerful pedal stroke.
