WOLFTOOTH chainring E-Bike Direct Mount Drop-Stop ST 12-speed for Shimano EP8
Direct mount chain ring for Shimano e-bike motors.
In addition to the clean look, a direct mount chainring offers greater rigidity at a low weight. Wolftooth's drop-stop technology allows you to omit a chain guide. This is made possible by special teeth that alternate between narrow and wide. For reliable chain guidance, we recommend using a rear derailleur with increased cage tension. Shimano offers these under the name Shadow+. SRAM calls it Type 3.0. The chainring is CNC-milled from one piece of 7075 aluminum and then anodized for maximum strength and low wear values.
