Wolf Tooth T47 bottom brackets are designed to ensure smooth running, durability, light weight, fast rotation and easy maintenance. The innovative design integrates custom bearings, seals, bushings and housings to eliminate creaking noise and provide superior weather sealing. Optimized radial compression, precise alignment and preload are used to minimize drag. The bottom brackets are compatible with 24 mm Shimano shaft diameters (also from other manufacturers) and are available in three color variants to integrate them seamlessly into existing Wolf Tooth components.

The bearing design is based on hardened chrome steel for balls and races, which has a higher surface hardness compared to stainless steel. This choice of material increases the durability of the bearing rings and reduces rotational resistance and noise. In addition, the race is provided with an ACOSUR ZNA coating, which after a 500-hour salt water test has a corrosion resistance that is at least equal to that of stainless steel. The material of the bearings, in combination with a comprehensive sealing system and the avoidance of metal-to-metal contact, ensures reliable performance under a wide range of operating conditions.
