Speedplay has always gone its own way. Their pedals are exotic on the bike market thanks to their special design. Through the cooperation with the American fitness specialist Wahoo, which has existed since 2019, the product portfolio has been revised and the quality has been increased again. The extravagant shape, the flat height, individual adjustment options and the very low weight characterize these pedals. Due to the fact that entry is possible on both sides, you are always one step ahead of the competition.
With the Zero's you are always comfortable and safe on the move. The built-in stainless steel axle ensures longevity and saves a few grams on the scales.
Independent design
The round shape not only promotes aerodynamics, but is also an eye-catcher on your bike. Due to the low overall height, the ground clearance is increased and you can simply continue pedaling in curves without coming into contact with the asphalt. In addition, the design was slightly modified to make it easier to get in and out.
Individual setting options
There are probably no other pedals that can be adjusted as individually as Speedplay's. The cleats can be moved forwards and backwards as well as sideways. The freedom of movement is adjustable from 0 ° to 15 °. You have the choice between absolute fixation or a more knee-friendly connection without constantly having to change the plates. The release hardness is determined by the supplied standard tension cleats or the optionally available easy tension cleats. The latter are especially recommended for beginners.
Quality without compromise
Speedplay doesn't want to make a mechanic out of you, you should drive. The bearings are therefore sealed to a high quality and are maintenance-free. The combination of industrial deep groove ball bearings and needle roller bearings transfers the forces gently and runs smoothly at the same time. In contrast to many other products on the market, the contact surfaces on pedals and plates are made of metal, which prevents premature wear.
The pedal plates are designed for road shoes with 3- or 4-hole attachment.
