Organic brake pads with steel backing plate from Voxom for Shimano XTR, XT and SLX disc brakes. Compared to metallic mixtures, the pad mixture has a shorter braking time, tends to be less noisy and reduces brake disc wear. However, the maximum heat absorption is lower than with metallic pads.
