Designed specifically for the most demanding, wet cross-country conditions, the Torrente XC Race is carefully engineered to deliver top performance even in extreme trail conditions. Its generous tread clearance ensures that even greasy mud is powerfully removed and cleans itself with every rotation. This keeps traction precise and consistent even in the wettest and muddiest racing conditions. The alternating center tread pattern enables fast speeds and claw-like edge traction - for maximum speed without losing control. Each lug features a progressive siping pattern that anchors itself in slippery roots and hidden rocks beneath the surface. Race formula with Graphene + Silica
Optimized for fast and technical terrain, this race-ready compound combines speed and control. The combination of Graphene and Silica improves grip while providing rolling speed and durability. Developed for cross-country riders who demand top performance in every discipline - whether uphill, downhill or sprint. Speed and grip exactly where XC riders need it most.

Bead Shield
A reinforced bead made of Zylon protects the tire and makes it resistant. Zylon is a high-performance polymer that is also used in protective vests, for example, and is particularly strong and light.

Vittoria TLR
Tubeless Ready tires offer better rolling characteristics and more cornering traction at the same air pressure compared to normal tube/tire combinations. Thanks to tubeless technology, the risk of snake bites during punctures is reduced to zero. The additional use of tire sealant increases puncture protection in the event of punctures and small cuts. With the TNT bead, proven in world championships, the tire seals tightly and stays securely on the rim.

Note: We strongly advise against the use of sealants containing ammonia. Ammonia has been proven to attack the carcass and can weaken it by up to 30% after just a few months, depending on the amount used.
