The Mezcal XC Race was developed for success on the podium and is designed for maximum speed. It is the preferred choice of XC world and European champions - and for good reason. Designed specifically for elite cross-country racing, the tire offers outstanding performance on technical terrain, fast descents and tough climbs. A continuous center tread ensures extremely fast rolling on straights, while siped extensions dig in when needed to maximize traction on steep climbs and hard braking. The Mezcal shows its strengths in demanding corners: Directional sipes on the side lugs run parallel to the direction of travel, with variable width and open trailing edges to provide aggressive grip on hard, slippery surfaces. Under the surface, the advanced Graphene + Silica Race formulation provides a perfect balance between grip, speed and durability - perfect for riders who want to take full advantage of every section of the track.

Vittoria TLR
Tubeless Ready tires offer better rolling characteristics and more cornering traction at the same air pressure compared to normal tube/tire combinations. Thanks to tubeless technology, the risk of snake bites during punctures is reduced to zero. The additional use of tire sealant increases puncture protection in the event of punctures and small cuts. With the world championship-proven TNT bead, the tire seals tightly and stays securely on the rim.

Note: We strongly advise against the use of sealants containing ammonia. Ammonia has been proven to attack the carcass and can weaken it by up to 30% after just a few months, depending on the amount used.

Bead Shield
A reinforced bead made of Zylon protects the tire and makes it resistant. Zylon is a high-performance polymer that is also used in protective vests, for example, and is particularly strong and light.
