The Corsa EVO TLR is the all-round tire with the highest mileage in the Veloflex range. In addition to its use in training and on long tours, it is still fast enough and offers enough grip to take it to the limit in racing. Thanks to its suitability for tubeless use, you can make even better use of the high riding comfort of the cotton carcass. Like all Veloflex tires, the Corsa is produced using the same production steps as the legendary Veloflex tubular tires, which is why Veloflex clincher tires are also known as open tubulars.
320 TPI cotton carcass
Thanks to the fine cotton carcass, the Corsa EVO is extremely flexible and has silky-smooth rolling characteristics. In addition to high riding comfort, the cotton carcass offers extremely low rolling resistance.
Tread with RainDrop profile
The tread of the Corsa EVO is made of natural rubber and silica. With the RainDrop tread pattern, the tread still offers a very high grip level with extremely low rolling resistance.
Air-Lock membrane
The thin membrane on the inside of the tire makes the tire more airtight for tubeless use and reduces air loss while riding or during longer downtimes. In addition, the tubeless milk dries out less quickly.
RKB Resilient Kinetic Belt
The extremely resistant protective layer under the tread makes the tire extremely resistant to punctures and cuts. Thanks to the placement of the protective layer, the outstanding rolling characteristics are not negatively affected.
Zylon tire beads
The non-stretch thermoplastic Zylon material ensures that the tire sits securely on the rim.
SPS - Sidewall Protection System
This reinforcement of the sidewalls in the area of the tire bead protects the sensitive cotton carcass from any sharp-edged carbon rim flanks. Thanks to the SPS system, the Corsa EVO is compatible with all hooked and hookless carbon rims on the market.
NOTE: The RainDrop tread has primarily an aesthetic purpose and the grip and rolling characteristics are not negatively affected once the tread is worn down.
