The USWE brand was founded by a group of Swedish motocross riders who were tired of back pain caused by backpacks bouncing around during hard off-road use. They therefore set about developing prototypes of backpacks that offered a much more comfortable and shock-resistant fit.

The Rolltop VST from USWE is a versatile rucksack for demanding missions. Made from Extreema ripstop nylon, it is particularly hard-wearing and durable. Even in demanding terrain, your most important items remain safely stowed away, thanks in particular to the revolutionary NDM 2 (No-Dancing-Monkey) 4-point harness system. Its elastic straps not only ensure a better fit of the backpack, they also improve breathing and freedom of movement on the trail. For the best possible ventilation, the straps in the shoulder area are made of a mesh material. In the back area, wave-shaped padding with ventilation channels support air circulation. The main compartment with roll closure offers plenty of storage space and flexible loading. It also has large front pockets, a side pocket and a zippered back pocket with space for food, phone and other equipment. Several mesh compartments offer additional space, for example for your water bottles. A separate sleeve allows you to use a hydration bladder with a volume of up to 3 liters.
The rucksack is also equipped with a RECCO reflector. This enables professional rescue teams to locate you more quickly after an avalanche accident or if you are lost in the wild. The system works via a radar signal emitted by a RECCO SAR helicopter detector. When this signal hits the reflector, it is reflected back and received by the detector, allowing your position to be determined. A major advantage is that the reflector requires neither power nor activation and is permanently functional.
