After the Eagle components have established themselves on the market, the Americans from SRAM 2018 come with the next big coup for the further optimization of mountain bike drives. The DUB technology not only simplifies the combination of crankshaft and bottom bracket, it also ensures a higher durability of the bottom bracket. SRAM DUB cranks have a standard shaft diameter of 28.99 millimeters. Thanks to different variants of the completely redesigned and better sealed DUB bottom bracket, the cranks are compatible with all common bottom bracket shells. The aluminum crankshafts have also been redesigned, reducing the weight of the DUB cranksets compared to their predecessors.

The Descendant carbon crank offers an unbeatable price-performance ratio. Through the use of proprietary carbon technology, the material thickness can be selected in such a way that an optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio is achieved. The crank arms are designed to be very robust to withstand rock gardens and tough trail use.

The cranks are supplemented by the current X-Sync 2 Direct Mount chainrings. These impress with a significantly smoother running of the chain and better self-cleaning in muddy conditions. With the proven alternating thick-thin tooth profile, which is tailored to the Eagle chains, the X-Sync 2 chainrings always keep the chain securely in place. The crank comes with a 32-tooth chainring.
