For the BackLoader X, the word saddlebag is almost an insult. Its ample capacity makes it almost like a trunk on your bike. Whether it's a weekend tour or a longer bike trip, you won't want to be without it.
Topeak has really put some thought into the design. The BackLoader X is divided into two parts. A waterproof pannier is attached behind a conventional saddle bag. This can be removed quickly and easily using a click fastener. It can easily accommodate a small sleeping bag or a change of clothes and is well protected against dirt. The volume is adjusted to the contents by rolling. An integrated valve allows excess air to escape.
Thanks to its slim shape, the saddle bag offers hardly any surface for the wind to attack. This makes it a particularly interesting and practical solution for fast gravel bikers. The Backloader X is attached to the seat post with a wide, non-slip Velcro strap and to the saddle rails with generously adjustable straps. You can also attach a safety light and ride safely in the dark.

Note: May not be suitable for very small frame sizes, depending on the geometry. Ensure sufficient clearance and distance to the tires.

The "Wishbone" metal bracket shown is an optional accessory and is not included in the scope of delivery.

We would like to point out that saddles which actively follow the tilting movement of the pelvis (e.g. SQlab Active) exert higher loads on the saddle bag. The strong movement of the saddle cover constantly loads and relieves the saddlebag. This can lead to faster wear of the materials.
