For the BackLoader X, the word saddlebag is almost an insult. Its ample capacity makes it almost like the trunk of your bike. Whether it's a weekend tour or a longer bike trip, you won't want to do without them anymore.
Topeak really put some thought into the design. The BackLoader X is divided into two. A waterproof stuff sack is attached behind a conventional saddlebag. This can be removed quickly and easily with a click fastener. This makes loading and unloading possible without any problems. A small sleeping bag or a change of clothes can easily be accommodated in it and are well protected against dirt. The volume is adjusted to the content by rolling. An integrated valve allows excess air to escape.
Due to the slim shape, the saddlebag offers hardly any surface for the wind to attack. This makes it an interesting and practical solution, especially for fast gravel bikers. The Backloader X is attached to the seat post with a wide, non-slip Velcro strip and to the seat stays with generously adjustable straps. You can also attach a safety light and be safe on the road even in the dark.
