Lightweight. Beautiful. Secure. When it comes to bicycle locks, TEX-LOCK believes that this need not be a contradiction in terms. The Leipzig-based company has set itself the task of developing lightweight and secure locks. With a stylish look and a special feel, TEX-LOCK is setting new standards for textile-based security systems.
At the heart of the TEX-LOCK Eyelet is a robust steel core with eyelets, which is encased in three layers of high-tech fibers. Each of these layers fulfills a special function and gives the lock a high level of saw and cut protection. Together with the shackle lock, which is supplied with two shackles of different lengths, the TEX-LOCK Eyelet offers twice as much theft protection with just one lock. The longer X-lock shackle secures several bike parts or your bike to fixed objects. The shorter U-lock shackle sits closer to the bike instead, making it all the more difficult to pick. The shackles can be locked on both sides. Thieves therefore have to break open both sides before the lock can be opened. The independent testing institutes ART and Sold Secure have certified the TEX-LOCK Eyelet as a secure bike lock.
