SYNCROS wheelset 29" Silverton 1.0

With the Silverton 1.0, Syncros has created an inexpensive alternative to the Silverton SL. But it was also developed for the best possible performance and agility on the cross-country race track. The low weight, high stiffness and durable components guarantee you propulsion and durability.

The hubs developed by Syncros itself are at the center of the wheelset. With their high-quality bearings adapted to the area of use and an elaborate seal, a long service life and low maintenance are guaranteed. The high rigidity of the slim body distributes the forces that occur during braking and acceleration evenly, so that no damage is caused by load peaks. A pawl freewheel on the rear wheel ensures extremely direct and reliable power transmission.
The spokes also come directly from Syncros. Their butted shape reduces weight and ensures comfort and durability thanks to their flexibility. The double crossed lacing also makes for a very stiff wheel.
The rims are a real eye-catcher. Made from high-quality carbon fibers, they are stable and can withstand hard impacts. This is further enhanced by the reinforced, hookless rim flanges. Of course, they can be ridden without a tube, which ensures a high level of puncture resistance even with low air pressure. The inner width of the rim is very generous. Even wide tires are reliably supported and you always have a direct ride feel.
Overall, Syncros has succeeded in ensuring a low inertia load, which means reducing the weight on the outside as much as possible in order to achieve better acceleration.
