This SYNCROS Capital wheelset is the perfect basis for any road or gravel bike and, thanks to its excellent aerodynamics, lets you experience a rush of speed at all times. At the same time, the weight remains pleasantly low, so that you will also have a lot of fun on excursions into hilly terrain.
At the center of the wheelset are the indestructible and tried and tested DT Swiss 240 hubs. With their high-quality bearings adapted to the area of use and an elaborate seal, a long service life and low maintenance requirements are guaranteed. The high rigidity of the body distributes the forces that occur during braking and acceleration evenly, so that no damage is caused by load peaks. On the rear wheel, the EXP pulley freehub with its large contact surface and 36 engagement points not only ensures extremely direct and reliable power transmission, but also a distinctive sound.
DT Swiss Aerolite spokes and Pro Lock nipples connect the hubs to the rims. The middle section was flattened using the cold forging process and therefore has a particularly high material strength. The straight design and the elimination of the highly stressed spoke bend also eliminates a potential breaking point and minimizes the susceptibility to punctures. In the Pro Lock process, a patented two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread and enables the construction of extremely durable wheels. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive is activated and hardens completely at room temperature after approx. 6 - 7 hours. Repeated re-centering is still possible without any problems, although the adhesive strength decreases slightly each time.
The rims are a real eye-catcher. Made from high-quality carbon fibers, they are stable and can withstand even the hardest impacts. This is also supported by the reinforced, hookless rim flanges. The flank height of 60 mm guarantees unprecedented streamlining and gives the rim sufficient stability to provide excellent directional stability even on fast descents. Naturally, the wheels can be ridden tubeless, which guarantees a high level of puncture resistance even at low air pressure. The inner width is very generous. With 23 mm at the front wheel and even 25 mm at the rear, even very wide tires are reliably supported and you always have perfect grip and plenty of comfort.
