The Capital SL Disc is one of the fastest wheels in the world. It not only impresses with its extravagant design, its technical features are also absolutely convincing.
The excellently crafted disc made of high-quality carbon fibers imperceptibly guides the wind past the rear wheel and generates incredible aerodynamics, which has also been confirmed by CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations and various wind tunnel tests. At the same time, the low weight ensures that even fast acceleration or riding on hilly terrain does not present any major difficulties. The complete lateral fairing also significantly increases stiffness. This means that every acceleration is immediately converted into propulsion. Nothing is wasted.
In addition to stability and aerodynamics, the cross-section of the rim plays an important role in performance. Syncros opted for a hookless rim flange. This is reinforced to withstand hard impacts. The tire also sits better on the sidewall, which ensures a perfect seal, especially when riding tubeless. The inner width of the rim is a generous 23 mm. Even wider tires are given an optimally round shape and are reliably supported, so you always have a direct ride feel and the best grip.
At the center of the wheel is a custom DT Swiss 240 hub. Not much needs to be said about it. Its indestructibility and reliability have been proven a thousand times over and it fits perfectly into the overall appearance of the Capital SL Aero. The smooth-running bearings, perfect sealing and ease of maintenance make it the first choice for this task and guarantee high mileage.With its large contact surface and 36 engagement points, the toothed pulley freewheel system ensures extremely efficient power transmission and impresses with its cool sound.
NOTE:
Due to the hookless profile, the Syncros Capital wheels are only suitable for use with ETRTO-compliant tubeless tires.
