According to Syncros, the Capital SL Aero is one of the fastest wheels in the world. It not only impresses with its extravagant design, the technical properties are also absolutely convincing.
The unique construction is recognizable at first glance. Everything appears to be of one piece. And that's no mistake. The rim, spokes and hub ring are made of high-strength SL carbon fibers in a monocoque construction. This avoids potential weak points during production and creates smooth transitions. In addition, the forces that occur can be better distributed, which prevents damage, especially in the case of extreme peak loads such as punctures.
Another positive effect of this design is the ultimate rigidity. Where there are no extra connection points, nothing can twist. Even heavy acceleration is immediately converted into propulsion and you always have absolute directional stability and therefore safe handling.
The aerodynamics are probably second to none. Not only the rim height has an important influence, the transitions and shapes of the individual components also have an effect. And even there the Capital SL scores. Due to the smooth transitions between rim and spokes, the wind has hardly any opportunities to attack. Its indestructibility and reliability has been proven thousands of times and it fits perfectly into the overall picture of the Capital SL Aero. The smooth-running bearings, the perfect seal and the good ease of maintenance make them the first choice for this task and guarantee high mileage. The ratchet freewheel system, with its large contact surface and 36 locking points, ensures extremely efficient power transmission and impresses with a cool sound.
All in all, Syncros has succeeded in developing an advanced and light wheel, which also has a low inertia load. So you will not only be enthusiastic about it when gliding fast on the flat, it also shows its strengths in mountainous terrain or in sprints.
