A real eye-catcher is the perfectly finished rim. Made from high-quality carbon fibers, it is stable and can withstand hard impacts. The rim height of 40 mm guarantees very good streamlining, but still has a certain degree of flexibility and comfort. Nevertheless, it is stiff enough to provide excellent directional stability even on fast descents. In addition to stability and aerodynamics, the cross-section of the rim plays an important role in performance. Syncros opted for a hookless rim flange. This is reinforced and thus withstands hard blows. In addition, the tire fits better on the flank, which ensures a perfect seal, especially when driving tubeless. The inner width of the rim is very generous at 25 mm. Even wider tires get a round shape and are reliably supported. So you always have a direct driving feeling and the best grip.
Syncros proprietary spokes connect the hub to the rim. Due to their knife shape with a slightly flattened middle part, they offer excellent aerodynamics and also save weight. The double crossing generates a very stiff impeller and makes it very robust. In addition, the straight design eliminates the risk of broken spokes because there is no sensitive bow.
A Syncros hub, which is based on the reliable DT Swiss 370, rotates in the center of the wheel. With its high-quality bearing , which is adapted to the intended use , and a complex seal, a long service life and low maintenance is ensured. The high rigidity of the body evenly distributes the forces that occur when braking and accelerating, so that no damage is caused even by peak loads.
