STYRKR [stir-kuh] means strength in Old Norse. The company has its roots in England and has been the passion project of Christian Sanderson since 2018. The idea arose from a personal need for a functional product for endurance sports. Christian, himself a cyclist, was unable to find a suitable product that would provide reliable energy, be well tolerated and also work during prolonged exercise. He then worked with professional sports nutritionists to develop products with a clear focus on helping everyday athletes achieve their next endurance goal. They also focus on natural ingredients.
Rice cakes used to be "de rigueur" in the Tour de France peloton, and not without reason. The Bar30 is a tribute to this, but in an improved version. It is compact, tasty and provides you with maximum energy when you need it most. Each bar contains 30g of carbohydrates and 182 calories.
