Description
SRAM XX1 | X01 Eagle cassette 12-speed X-Dome XG-1295 10-50 teeth black-gray
The evolution of Srams XX1 group bears the epithet Eagle, to German eagle. If you look at the details of the group, this name makes perfect sense. While one often had to compromise with the 11-speed cassette with 10-42 teeth graduation of the XX1 cassette and missed either the fastest or the slowest course, one is with the 12-speed XX1 Eagle cassette with its huge graduation of 10-50 teeth free in every terrain like an eagle. Sram manages to combine the advantages of 2-fold and 1-fold drives with the XX1 Eagle: a translation ratio of 500%, which is on the level of 2-fold groups, in conjunction with the easier-to-handle and lighter 1-fold Drive.
With the proven SRAM X-Dome technology, the XG-1295 Eagle 12-speed cassette is one of the toughest and stiffest cassettes on the market. This is achieved by milling the cassette from a block SRAM. This production technology also makes it possible to keep the weight extremely low even with durable steel pinions. Only the 50s end pinion is made of aluminum. Compared to the XX1 cassette, the individual pinions have been optimized for improved shifting performance and improved chain positioning.
