With the XPLR Upgrade Kit you can convert your existing eTap AXS groupset for use on gravel bikes.

Rear derailleur
The new single-speed specific Rival XPLR rear derailleur has been specially developed for the needs of modern gravel riders. In combination with the matching XPLR cassette with 10-44 teeth, it gives you enough range to climb any climb. Narrow gear steps on the smaller sprockets help you to maintain your comfortable cadence at high speeds. In-house technologies that have been tried and tested over many years ensure the necessary reliability for use in rough off-road conditions. The electronic wireless eTap shifting logic ensures intuitive shifting processes and simple setup. You can personalize the shifting behavior via the AXS APP. Enlarged derailleur pulleys with proven X-Sync Narrow-Wide tooth profile keep the chain securely in place, even in the toughest conditions. A spring clutch is also used to dampen vibrations. The necessary power is supplied by the proven SRAM eTap battery (not included), with which you can operate the rear derailleur for over 1000 kilometers or around 60 riding hours. An ANT+ transmitter integrated in the rear derailleur enables communication between your bike computer and the rear derailleur, allowing you to display the battery charge status and the current gear in your cockpit, among other things.

NOTE: The rear derailleur is only compatible with SRAM eTap AXS shifters!

Cassette
More range for unlimited gravel adventures. The new XPLR XG-1251 cassette with 10-44 teeth offers you enough gear range for the steepest climbs as well as for fast flat sections. Its X-Range transmission has a smooth gear progression and finely graduated smaller sprockets so that you can always maintain your comfortable cadence. Its tool steel sprockets are connected to each other via pins using the SRAM mini-cluster design. The sprockets are nickel-chrome plated for long durability and smooth chain running. The cassette is compatible with all SRAM XPLR rear derailleurs and SRAM Flattop 12-speed chains. It can be mounted on all hubs with XDR freehub bodies.
