SRAM Rival XPLR AXS Wide HRD E1 Gravel groupset 1x13
The Rival AXS XPLR components offer you premium performance at a low price. For maximum enjoyment on every ride, SRAM relies on proven technology and numerous features of the top gravel groupsets. Thirteen gears for even more range, a robust full-mount rear derailleur for reliable shifting in all conditions and newly designed shift/brake levers for effortless and powerful braking are now also on board the Rival. Personalization, firmware updates and the integration of AXS power meters can be carried out conveniently via the SRAM AXS app.
Crank
The most advanced aluminum road bike crank from SRAM not only impresses technically, but also visually. Thanks to its precise design, the stiffness-to-weight ratio has been optimized. Material is only used where it is really needed. As a result, over 50 grams of weight have been saved on the crank system. The wide version of the Rival crank has been specially developed for gravel bikes, with a DUB crankshaft that has been widened by 5 millimetres and a chain line that has been moved outwards by 2.5 millimetres to provide sufficient tire clearance even for 2.1 inch wide tires. The proven SRAM X-Sync tooth profile with alternating thick and thin teeth (narrow-wide) ensures a secure fit of the chain on the chainring. With the matching DUB-Wide bottom bracket, the Rival XPLR crank is compatible with all standard bottom bracket housings.
AXS HRD shift-brake system
Braking with just one finger? The SRAM Rival shifters make it possible. Thanks to stiffer brake calipers and the newly designed shift/brake levers with an optimized pivot point, you can generate more braking power in all handlebar positions with significantly less hand force. Thanks to their ergonomic design and grip width adjustment, the shifters are comfortable to use for a wide range of hand sizes. The textured main shifters work according to the proven eTap shifting logic. One rocker switch for upshifting and one rocker switch for downshifting. If both paddles are operated simultaneously, the front derailleur is shifted. The shifting behaviour can be personalized via the SRAM AXS app and additional SRAM Wireless Blip Shifters can also be integrated. Bleeding Edge technology ensures simple and clean bleeding. Thanks to the slim design and the carbon brake levers, the Force AXS HRD system is significantly lighter than the previous version.
AXS XPLR 13-speed rear derailleur | 46T
The Rival AXS XPLR rear derailleur ensures perfect gear changes, even on the most demanding terrain. Thanks to the full-mount design for mounting on frames with UDH derailleur hanger, the rear derailleur is significantly more robust and resistant than the previous version. The rear derailleur can independently avoid hard impacts by briefly decoupling. Should a component be damaged, numerous components can be replaced. The rear derailleur has been specially designed and optimized for use with the XPLR 10-46 tooth cassettes, making it easier than ever to set up the rear derailleur without the need for adjustment screws. With the spring clutch inspired by mountain bikes, the chain sits securely on the chainring even under the toughest vibrations.
Cassette
With 13 sprockets and a range of 10-46 teeth, you have the right gear for all requirements. A nickel-chrome coating on the teeth ensures clean shifting and a long service life. The cassette does not require a classic spider and the sprockets, which are made of tool steel, are riveted together. To save weight, the largest sprocket is made of aluminum. The cassette is compatible with all SRAM Flattop chains and hubs with XDR freehub bodies.
Chain
With its milled outer plates, SRAM was able to save a few grams of weight on the Rival Flattop chain. Thanks to the hard chrome coating on the inner plates, the chain can withstand tough shifting maneuvers and has an increased service life. The chain is easily locked with the enclosed Powerlock chain lock.
160 mm Paceline brake rotors
The Paceline brake rotors take up the elegant design of the AXS Road groupsets. With their optimized ventilation holes, they ensure even and low-vibration braking performance. The rounded edges on the top of the rotor minimize the risk of injury and comply with the guidelines of the UCI cycling world federation. A further advantage is that they make it easier to install the wheel, as the rounded top prevents jamming in the brake calliper.
Charger/batteries
The integrated battery on the rear derailleur has a range of over 1000 kilometers. The charge status can be read at any time via an LED light and the battery is recharged within an hour using the charger supplied.
