For the new Red groupset, SRAM has put the proven Red Flattop chain on a diet. Thanks to the hollow-pin design and cut-outs in the inner and outer plates, 13 grams of weight have been saved. The long service life and smooth running of the Red chain have remained the same. In addition to the flattop design, a chrome coating on the inside of the plates and the rollers ensures this.
