With the GX Eagle complete groupset, you can equip your bike with the new Eagle cassettes with 52 teeth. The increased range compared to the Eagle cassettes with 10-50 teeth not only offers more reserves for extremely steep climbs. Powerful riders can ride a larger chainring thanks to the increased gear range of 520% without compromising the bike's climbing capabilities. As a result, the drivetrain enables a higher top speed and the rider also uses the larger sprockets of the cassette more often, which are more efficient.
Crank
With their striking design, the GX Eagle crank arms immediately catch the eye and are made from 7000 aluminum to withstand the occasional impact and stone chips. The crank is complemented by an X-Sync 2 Direct Mount chainring, which impresses with significantly smoother chain movement and better self-cleaning in muddy conditions.With the proven alternating thick-thin tooth profile, it holds the chain securely in place. The crank is supplied with a 32 tooth chainring. The bright aluminium teeth still look like new even after thousands of kilometers, as unsightly worn spots in the anodizing are not possible. You can find retrofit chainrings with 30 to 38 teeth in our store.
Rear derailleur
With its single-speed specific X-Horizon design, the GX Eagle rear derailleur adopts numerous technologies from the XX1 Eagle groupset. The large offset of the upper derailleur pulley ensures constant chain spacing and precise shifting.A lower derailleur pulley with 14 teeth ensures that the chain runs smoothly and with less resistance, supported by the optimized Type 3.0 cage damping, which effectively prevents chain slap on rough terrain. The extremely high tension of the derailleur cage and X-Sync derailleur pulleys matched to the chain prevent the chain from jumping off even on the roughest trails.Thanks to a new geometry, the GX Eagle rear derailleur is suitable for SRAM Eagle cassettes up to a maximum of 52 teeth.
Trigger
The GX Eagle Trigger is the control center of the shifting group, requiring only the thumb of the right hand to pass on the shifting commands. This allows you to concentrate on the essentials on the trail: The new 12-speed shifting mechanism of the Trigger ensures smooth and precise shifting and has a very high durability. Its Exact Actuation technology ensures smooth and even gear changes across the entire gear range. The GX Eagle Shifter can be mounted with the SRAM Matchmaker or Matchmaker X for a tidy cockpit and optimum ergonomics.
Cassette
Whether pedal-heavy descents or the steepest ramps, the XG-1275 cassette with 10-52 teeth provides you with the right gears in any terrain. The stamped steel sprockets and a 52-tooth aluminum sprocket ensure a high durability of the cassette. The sprockets are not connected via a spider, but are riveted with stainless steel pins. This not only makes the Fullpin cassette lighter than conventional cassettes, the open design also offers excellent self-cleaning in muddy conditions. The teeth optimized with SRAM's X-Glide 2 technology ensure optimum shifting performance when shifting up and down, while an increased bandwidth compared to the Eagle cassettes with 10-50 teeth not only offers more reserves for extremely steep climbs. Chain
The GX Eagle chain was specially developed to meet the requirements of the 12-speed drivetrain and its unique design makes the chain highly resistant to wear. A nickel coating offers a high level of corrosion protection and reduces chain friction. The revised PowerLock chain lock has a longer service life and is even easier to handle.
